The Insights screen gives you an at-a-glance overview of your snippet library: what’s active, what types you have, where snippets run, and how conditions are used.
Find it in the WordPress admin menu under Snippets → Insights.
What the charts show
- Active and inactive snippets — how much of your library is actually running.
- Breakdown by type — PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and content snippets.
- Where snippets run — the distribution of run locations (front-end, admin, header, footer, and so on).
- Condition usage — how your snippets are conditioned.
- Tags cloud — a visual map of your tags, so you can spot how your snippets are organized.
Saved chart views
Each chart can be switched between views. Your chosen view is saved per user, so every administrator sees the Insights screen the way they left it.
