Insights on the Snippets List and Admin Bar

Insights isn’t only a screen of its own — timing and security data also appears directly in the snippets list, and the admin bar shows which snippets actually ran on the page you’re viewing.

The Insights column

The snippets table has an Insights column, and snippet cards show the same data as pills:

  • Average run time — tinted when a snippet is slow, so slow snippets stand out at a glance.
  • Security findings — the worst open severity from the security scan.
  • Secure snippet badge — snippets with no findings at all get a badge saying so.

Clicking opens an insights modal with the full timing data and the complete list of security findings for that snippet.

“Ran on this page” in the admin bar

The Snippets menu in the WordPress admin bar gains a Ran on this page group, listing the snippets that actually executed on the current request — PHP, content, CSS and JavaScript snippets alike, each with a badge for its type. Each entry links to the snippet’s edit screen.

This answers a question the snippets list can’t: not which snippets are active, but which ones actually fired on the page you’re looking at. No more guessing from activation status and conditions.
