Snippet Conditions Public Beta

✂️ Snippet Conditions: Now in Public Beta! 🎉

Code Snippets is incredibly excited to announce that Snippet Conditions, one of the most requested features in Code Snippets history, is officially entering Public Beta!

This powerful new addition brings conditional logic to your snippets, making it easier than ever to control when and where your code runs on your WordPress site.

🔍 What Are Snippet Conditions?

Snippet Conditions allow you to apply logic-based rules to your snippets. Want a snippet to run only on blog posts? Or for logged-in users only? How about both? With Conditions, you’re in full control.

This isn’t your typical if-this-then-that logic either. We’ve rethought the entire experience to be more intuitive, reusable, and flexible.

🧠 Built for Reuse and Flexibility

We took our time developing this because we did things differently. Instead of baking conditions directly into each snippet, we made them standalone entities.

Here’s why that matters:

  • Conditions are reusable. Create a condition once, and apply it to multiple snippets.

  • Centralized management. View and manage all your conditions in their own dedicated tab.
  • Visual logic builder. Use AND/OR rules to fine-tune when a snippet should run, no need to write custom code.

✨ How to Use Conditions

There are two main ways to create and apply Conditions:

1. From a Snippet Page

Click the Conditions button on any snippet to open the conditions popup. You can either:

  • Create a new condition by defining a name (optional) and building your logic with simple rule sets.

  • Apply an existing condition from your library, just select it from the dropdown.

Once you’re happy, click Apply Condition, and you’re done!

2. From the Conditions Tab

Head to the Conditions tab in your dashboard and click Add New. This lets you:

  • Build a new condition independently
  • Attach it to one or more snippets via the Snippets using this Condition section

You can even detach or reassign conditions at any time. Clean, simple, and scalable.
