We just released Code Snippets v3.9.0 Beta + v3.8.2 Stable — Trash, AI interactions, and cloud workflows

We expanded our team, and it’s starting to show! We’re now able to provide you with more frequent and comprehensive updates often based on your own feature requests. Our most recent release v3.8 launched just last week, and we already have a new update for you today. This one introduces enhancements including trash functionality, improved AI interactions, and streamlined cloud workflows.

Do not worry, we’re not asking you to update every week, but we are going to deliver more amazing features more frequently.

🧪 Beta v3.9.0 — Try It Early

🔄 Soft-Deleting for Snippets: Safely move snippets to the trash before permanently deleting them — no more accidental removals. This has been one of the most requested features and we’re happy to deliver. Thanks for single handedly creating this one Louis!

Beta testers, your feedback is key! Try snippet trashing in v3.9.0 and help us fine-tune it for everyone.

🚀 Stable v3.8.2 — Available Now

  • 🗂️ Better File-Based Snippets: Improved handling on multisite installations and better compatibility with namespaced PHP code.
  • 🤖 Enhanced AI Explanation UX (PRO): Apply or remove AI-generated in-line comments easily for cleaner, smarter code insights.
  • ☁️ Improved Cloud Pagination (PRO): Enjoy smoother navigation and display in cloud search results and Codevault.
  • 🎨 Polished Styling (PRO): Minor UI fixes to enhance clarity and overall user experience.

“This dual release is about control — from soft-deleting safely to better cloud workflows and smarter AI interactions.”
